Wellness at 小蓝视频

小蓝视频 is committed to establishing a work environment that promotes healthy lifestyles, decreases the risk of disease, and enhances the quality of our employees' lives.

Wellness is the process of being aware of and actively working toward better physical, financial, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual health and well-being. Skidmore values healthy community members!

Through communication, encouragement, health promotion, educational programming, and various fitness offerings, we hope to create a community that supports the overall health and well-being of faculty and staff.

Examples of past programs and initiatives offered through Live More Skidmore, in partnership with MVP, include Drink 8 to Hydrate; No Gain, Maintain; the Penny Counter Challenge; Minutes in Motion; and the Gratitude Challenge.

Current challenge:

  • DASH Challenge, March 17 - April 13: 鈥孴his is a four-week healthy eating program to learn about the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) eating plan and how this way of eating can promote health and prevent chronic disease.

Upcoming for spring 2025:

  • Gratitude Challenge, May 2 - June 1: This is a four-week challenge that encourages individuals to set aside some time each day to complete small activities and write down things for which they feel grateful. This challenge helps participants develop strategies and skills for coping with stress, finding purpose, and supporting healthy relationships and work-life balance. Registration opens in late April.
